Based on real interactions and conversations with people in a small town in Mississippi, these vignettes are dramatised absurdist fiction set in a nowhere land on the edge of elsewhere. They follow pseudo-philosopher Richard Johnson, a grand thinker, flawed in his own special brand of false logic and social misunderstanding. He navigates directionlessly as his own worst enemy, searching for meaning in the abyss and mulling over self-created problems.
Johnson is looking inward for something that he knows isn’t there. Yet he is subtly optimistic about finding it while leaving quiet havoc in his wake.
